ZiP EcoRide is proud to announce the donation of an eScooter to Mennonite Central Committee Ontario’s “Raising Hope” campaign. This campaign seeks to raise money towards the costs of a new building to house MCCO’s operations at 50 Kent St. in Kitchener.

A ZiP Breeze has been donated for the live auction that will take place at the “50 Kent Tailgate Party” on June 21st from 5:30-7:30pm. The “Tailgate” will feature live music, soup (MCC style) and the ceremonial dismantling of the old building at 50 Kent St. to make way for the new building set to be completed December 2013. As part of the “Tailgate” festivities, a live auction will take place where a pickup truck will be auctioned off in addition to a ZiP Breeze eScooter.

The ZiP Breeze to be auctioned off will be on display this Friday May 25 and Saturday May 26 at the New Hamburg Mennonite Relief Sale along with the pickup truck. MCC is also planning to showcase the eScooter at several branches of the Mennonite Savings and Credit Union leading up to the “Tailgate Party” on June 21st.
